Craig Johnson
Craig Johnson (Warwick, Inquisitor, La Hire, Robert, Duchess) is excited to be working with Orchard Theater Collective again, having adapted and directed A Doll's House in 2017. Craig is a freelance actor and director who has worked at many area theaters including Ten Thousand Things, Latte Da, The Jungle, History Theatre, Park Square, Gremlin, Artistry, Minnesota Jewish Theatre, Girl Friday Productions, Torch, Yellow Tree, and many others. Craig also teaches at St. Catherine University and is an acting/audition coach and writer. Recognition includes Ivey Awards for acting and directing, and he has been named Theater Artist of theYear by City Pages and Lavender magazine. Upcoming: directing Sherwood (Yellow Tree Theatre), Born Yesterday (Commonweal Theatre), The Addams Family (Cedar Summerstock).
Damian Leverett
Damian Leverett is a founding member of The Orchard and a freelance performer around the Twin Cities. Credits include shows at the Guthrie, Yellow Tree Theatre, Theater Mu, Bucket Brigade, and Minnesota Jewish Theater. Previous Orchard credits: Twelfth Night (as co-director), Thomas Tallis, and A Doll’s House. He’s a graduate of the UMN/Guthrie BFA Actor Training Program. He is very thankful for all the love and support the Twin Cities community has shown to The Orchard.
Annie Schiferl
Annie Schiferl is feeling so lucky to be working with The Orchard Theater Collective on Saint Joan. Based in Minneapolis, Annie has worked locally with the Guthrie Theater, Trademark Theater, Illusion Theater, Playwrights Center, and Pale Blue Dot Theatre Company. Tim Sailer
Tim Sailer is excited to be back in Minnesota. Years ago, he appeared at Park Square Theatre (The Odyssey), Commonweal Theatre Company (The Rainmaker, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, An Enemy of the People), and Theatre L'Homme Dieu (Hay Fever). Then, he received an MFA from the University of Houston's Professional Actor Training Program. At the American Shakespeare Center (Staunton, VA), he played more than 50 roles throughout 35 plays. Some include Cassius (Julius Caesar), Jack (The Importance of Being Ernest), Horatio (Hamlet), Mirabell (The Way of the World), and Alf (Peter and the Starcatcher). Other theatre work includes the Texas Shakespeare Festival (Othello, King John, Born Yesterday, Tartuffe), Houston Shakespeare Festival (Henry V, Much Ado About Nothing), Arkansas Shakespeare Theater (Twelfth Night, Richard III), and played Macbeth on an educational tour with the Utah Shakespeare Festival. Meg Bradley
Meg had the good fortune to work with members of the Orchard in Rogue Prince for Theatre Coup d’Etat. Most recently, she played the madwoman in the B.A.N.D Groups adaptation of The Madwoman of Minneapolis. She has enjoyed a full life in the theatre, mostly as a performer, starting as a member of Theatre de la Jeune Lune many moons ago. She wrote a play which was staged at The Jungle called Tossin’Junk. Some favorite roles include Morticia, in The Addams Family Musical/RCT, Monique in The Kitchen/ TJL, Dame Quickly in Rogue Prince/ Coup d’Etat and Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream/CTC. She deeply values ensemble work and has been playing male roles on and off since 1979, developing the role of the caretaker for TJL’s original Ubu for President. She is ever grateful to her family, for continued love and support, especially Joe, Grace and Theresa.
